At this point, we all know and love Zelda. The game has one of the biggest online communities and it’s not difficult to see why. With an enormous world and countless quests, you can play Zelda for over a hundred hours.
If you’ve played the game before, you know how important it is to activate the Sheikah Towers. And the Akkala Tower is no different. So, let’s see what the two best ways to climb the tower are and how you can do it in just a few minutes.
Crossing with the First Method
Now, the biggest problem when it comes to reaching the Akkala Tower is the black and purple ooze or malice. The malice surrounds the entire area, making it difficult to get across. If you touch it, the malice will decrease your health.
So, in order to avoid it, you first have to find the northern side of the tower. There, you will see a window with a few broken bars. Through that window, you can see a huge, black eyeball that you have to shoot with your bow and arrow.
Even though the eyeball won’t take away all of the malice as it normally would, it’s a necessary first step. It will give you a steel beam that you’ll need to use to get across. Then, use the magnesis rune to pick the beam up and set it down between yourself and the window.
Once you have the beam where you want it, you can jump onto it and walk into the tower. But before you start climbing, remember to put on your warm doublet if you have it, because it gets pretty cold in the Akkala Tower.
Crossing with the Second Method
If you’re feeling a bit adventurous, there’s another way you can get across the malice. Again, you’ll start by shooting the eyeball so you have the steel beam. But instead of setting it down in the malice, you can put it on the overhead part of the doorway.
Even though the overhead is pretty small, with a little finesse, you can set it there and just go inside. If you’ve completed the Vah Medoh dungeon quest, you can use the powers you got there to climb virtually any tower in the game, including the Akkala Tower.
